Description
The School was established in 1989 and is located on Browns
Bay Beach. The Bay is a small cosmopolitan town with beautiful
beaches, stores, restaurants and cafes. The School has
a spacious study hall, recreation hall, library with supplementary
material for English classes and a computer lab.
Accommodation
The School offers students a list of families that are
willing to host them. These families are carefully selected
and offer students comfort and a friendly atmosphere,
ensuring a pleasant stay in New Zealand.
Students can also choose to rent furnished apartments
that, if shared among several, are very convenient and
affordable.
Academics
English courses are very varied. There are full time courses
with morning and afternoon lessons, or part time courses
with the possibility of adding special afternoon activities
that supplement language teaching. Lessons for underage
students are also very much in demand as they are taught
in a dynamic and fun way. The exam preparation programs
include such exams as TOEFL, FCE and IELTS with 2 to 5
lessons a day and a maximum of 12 students per class.
Activities
Activities for student’s free time are very diverse.
Due to the school’s excellent location, during the
summer water sports such as surfing and canoeing are very
popular, as are beach outings and parties. In the winter,
students can ski and those enjoying more extreme sports
can participate in parachuting and bungee jumping activities.
