Aspiring Language Institute
Description
Aspiring is a private English school, established in January
1989.
It is located in Merivale, a residential area of Christchurch
surrounded by parks, shops, cafes and restaurants. The
Institute has a maximum of 70 students and its classes
are thought out for small groups (a maximum of 10 students
per class), which allows them to obtain better results
and make friends more easily.
Accommodation
The Institute uses host families to accommodate students
in. These families live close to the Institute, in some
cases just a few blocks away.
Families are carefully selected and offer single rooms
(en suite in some cases) and double rooms for couples.
Academics
The Institute offers Intensive English courses lasting
for between 4 to 52 weeks, as well as exam courses that
help students prepare TOEFL and Cambridge (FCE, CAE, CPE)
exams, which last from 4 to 12 weeks.
Activities
Students can participate in the following activities in
their free time: visits to museums and other parts of
the city, sports and outings to restaurants and bars.
