Description
Dynaspeak is located in the heart of Auckland, surrounded
by bars and restaurants. The school’s teaching method
is based on having small classes (with only 6-12 students)
divided according to their level of English, thus ensuring
evenly leveled classes. Other tutoring and supplementary
classes introduce younger students to effective communication
in English before starting the courses, providing support
at all times.
Accommodation
The School arranges for the airport welcome and homestay
accommodation with local families that are carefully selected.
These families are very hospitable and introduce students
to the New Zealand way of life. Breakfast and dinner are
provided on week days and lunch on weekends.
Academics
The School offers general English courses on a full time
basis (25 hours per week) or on a part time basis (between
10 and 15 hours per week). These programs include tutoring
classes for any student in need of assistance. They also
include classes exclusively designed for immigrants or
foreigners that are about to acquire residency, focusing
on more on the country’s aspects. An exam course
is also offered in order to sit for the IELTS (International
English Language Testing System), essential prerequisite
for immigrating to New Zealand.
Activities
Both students and teachers at Dynaspeak organize social
events and activities on a daily basis and for weekends.
The advantages of the school’s location allow students
to participate in surfing, windsurfing and adventure sports.
For those preferring to spend the day at the school, there
are comfortable facilities equipped with newspapers, magazines,
television and recreational areas.
